South Burnett Regional Council is excited to announce a new spinning orb has been installed in the playground at Apex Park, Kingaroy! The spinning orb promotes fun, balance, coordination and social interaction for children.

Kingaroy Shared Zone Event – Glendon Street Road Closure for St Mary’s

South Burnett Regional Council advises that access to the Glendon Street shared zone, between the Circular Place entry and exit, will be restricted on Friday 18 September 2026 for the St Mary's Year 12 Formal.

Water Meter Reading Program – October to December 2026

South Burnett Regional Council advises residents that Council and/or its appointed water meter reading officers have commenced reading water meters throughout the region for the half year period, with the program expected to continue until Friday 18 December 2026. Water meter readings will be conducted between the hours of 6.00am and 6.00pm daily.

Dog Registration Renewals

South Burnett Regional Council advises that dog registration renewals have now been issued. If you receive your notice via post, these have been posted and you will receive these shortly. Emailed notices will be issued today, Tuesday 1 September 2026.
