Temporary Closure of Toilets at Dingo Creek Park, Wondai

South Burnett Regional Council wishes to inform the public that the toilets at Dingo Creek Park, Wondai are temporarily closed due to a leaking water pipe. This issue requires significant repair work, which may take up to two weeks to complete.

Footpath and Drainage Upgrade – Bunya Avenue, Dandabah

South Burnett Regional Council advises that footpath and drainage works will be undertaken on Bunya Avenue, adjacent to “The Bunyas” Tavern and Cafe. The existing carparking along the frontage to this business will be re-configured to allow for construction of a new concrete footpath along this section of Bunya Avenue. The existing drainage in this location will also be upgraded.

Notice of Road Works – Taabinga and Proston Cemeteries

South Burnett Regional Council advises that works are scheduled to be completed on the internal roads in the Taabinga and Proston Cemeteries, week commencing Wednesday 6 May 2026. Works are expected to be completed by Friday 15 May 2026, weather and machinery permitting. Both Cemeteries will be accessible during this time.
