A Day at the Dam Music Festival

The Day at the Dam Music Festival will be held at the Bjelke-Petersen Dam, Moffatdale on Saturday 28 October 2023, gates open 12.00pm – 10.00pm.

This event is aimed at promoting connectedness, encouraging support networks, social inclusion and delivery of recovery outcomes for the South Burnett region.

Information

Parking – parking is now available onsite, with parking available near the Bjelke-Petersen Dam Wall Boat Ramp or behind the BP Dam Kiosk. Free shuttle buses will be running from the BP Dam Kiosk to the event every 15 minutes throughout the entire event. No tickets will be required for the shuttle buses.   (Image Below)

Shuttle Buses - If you are staying at the Dam there will be a free shuttle bus available from the BP Dam Kiosk to take you to the event.

Free Town Buses – Free buses will be running from Kingaroy, Wondai, Nanango and Murgon. Bookings must be made when purchasing your event ticket. Please ensure that you are aware of the bus schedule and be there 10 mins prior to departure as buses will leave on time. No refunds for the event will be provided if you miss the bus. Cash only – due to limited mobile service there will be No Eftpos at the event, please bring cash to purchase any food, drinks or merchandise being sold on the day.

Tickets –   No tickets will be available for sale at the gate.

Entry to the event – Make sure you bring your tickets for entry to the event,  valid ID must be shown at the gate for Adult ticket holders to receive a wrist band for entry into the bar.

Licencing – a licenced bar will be available at the event, wrist bands issued at gate must be worn to gain entry to the bar.

Food & Drinks – Food and drinks will be available to purchase at the event. No food or drinks will be permitted to be brought into the event.

Prohibited items - No eskies, food, or alcohol to be brought into the event.  These items must be disposed of at the gate. For a full list of prohibited items refer to the Terms and Conditions.

Sun Smart – it is predicted to be a hot day, drink plenty of water and please ensure you slip, slop, slap.

Seating – No seating available, bring your own camp chairs or picnic rug.

No Smoking – this is a non-smoking event, including no vaping.

Road Closure – Access to the Bjelke-Petersen Dam Day Area and Dam Wall Boat Ramp will be closed from 6.00 am on Saturday 28 October, 2023.  Access is available to Day at the Dam ticket holders only.

Gates open at 12pm with live events kicking off from 12:30pm, Welcome to Country and Official Opening at 4pm with the event closing at 10pm.
