Various business and community groups across the region will be bringing Council to their towns during the month of September.

In the spirit of “growing the pie, not the piece”, September will be a busy month for business groups and Council with a nine (9) town tour across the South Burnett.

The 2017 Roadshow will be hosted by business and community groups across the region and features presentations from Council on the pre-qualified supplier list, contractor management system, the 2020 South Burnett Economic Development Strategy and an update of Council activity from the 2016/17 Annual Report.

Mayor Keith Campbell said “We’ve just completed the first full 12 months as a Council and a lot of positive progress has been made.  The Roadshow in September plans to give you details of our achievements.  There will be time to discuss any particular matters with Councillors in attendance and I encourage you to be an active part of your Council’s future”.
