I have included the timetable and statistics of applicant numbers for Councillors information.  I would like to highlight that Council received 166 applications for 10 available positions.  While this is a strong result for Council it is unfortunate that Council can only assist 10 of those applicants in this process.

Traineeships 2018

January

29th - Advertised positions (close on 9th Feb)

February

CTC ran short interviews, and shortlisted to a top 3 applicants per position

March

6th - HR received applications from CTC
8th - Interviews for 3 x Horticulture (applicants selected)
14th - Interviews for Library and Services & Infrastructure Administration (applicants selected)
15th - Interviews for WHS (applicant selected)

20th - Interviews for Civil Construction & Civil Construction (Concrete) (applicants booked)

21st - Interviews for Warehousing & Water & Wastewater (Treatment) (yet to book applicants)

26th - Pre-employment medicals and criminal history checks commence and carry out for the week

April

9th - Start date for all trainees
10th - Induction Day for trainees (Corporate & WHS Induction, I.D photos taken, sign up with training organisation and Apprenticeship Support Australia)
