KTP Update - Schedule of Works for January 2022 - Kingaroy Street
The Kingaroy Transformation Project will recommence on 4 January 2022, with the reconstruction of Kingaroy Street between Alford Street and Haly Street.
Works will commence on the intersection of Alford and Kingaroy Streets and are expected to continue north on both sides of the street with simultaneous construction to reduce impacts on businesses and construction time.
The intersection of Kingaroy Street and Alford Street will be fully closed from Friday 7 January 2022 and back to school business will be supported by parking still available in Kingaroy Street and a turnaround in place near construction. Local traffic supporting business can access via Haly Street and off street carparking behind the banks and businesses will still also be fully available.
Council will continue to provide regular updates and maps for community accessibility.
Motorists and pedestrians are requested to travel with care, to drive to the prevailing road conditions and to adhere to signage.
Council apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks businesses and the community for their patience whilst works are in progress.
