Kerb and channel upgrade Alford Street Kingaroy
South Burnett Regional Council advises kerb and channel upgrades will commence early June 2021on Alford Street Kingaroy, between Thorn Street and First Avenue.
Works are anticipated to be completed in approximately 3-4 weeks, weather conditions and external constraints permitting.
These works are funded through the Australian Government’s Local Roads and Community Infrastructure Program (LRCIP) and include excavation, pavement work, new kerb, concrete vehicle access and bitumen seal.
To provide a safe work environment, the work areas will be controlled by signage or with traffic controllers as required.
Local access to properties within the work area will be permitted, however some delays may occur.
Council apologises for any inconvenience caused and appreciates the patience of businesses and the community while works are in progress.
