South Burnett Regional Council has begun the next annual budget cycle, working through a series of discussions over the coming weeks.

The 2021/22 budget is scheduled to be adopted at a special budget meeting on Wednesday 30 June 2021.

To remain transparent in the decision making process, Council will be opening up budget committee meetings to the community via live streaming and the public gallery. COVID-19 restrictions apply.

Regular budget meetings will take place in the Warren Truss Chamber, Glendon Street, Kingaroy from Wednesday 5 May 2021 until Wednesday 30 June 2021.

Mayor Brett Otto said, “Council is facing a challenging budget and we are keen to take the community with us through the budget deliberations.”
