Nanango Cultural Centre upgrades to commence
South Burnett Regional Council has commissioned contractors to commence upgrades to the Nanango Cultural Centre.
These works will include the installation of a new air conditioning system and the replacement of louvres.
Construction works commenced on Monday 29 of March 2021 with an anticipated completion date of Friday 27 June 2021.
Funding for this program was received as part of the State Government’s Works for Queensland programme.
Residents are advised that there may be general worksite noises and vehicle movements to and around the jobsite during this time. Council and the construction team will be mindful that surrounding businesses will be trading as per normal.
The Nanango Cultural Centre will be closed from the commencement date to allow these works to be completed and will resume bookings once works have been completed on the Friday 27 June 2021.
