As part of Council’s 2020/21 budget, funding has been allocated for construction of a new waste transfer station in Maidenwell.
Council wishes to extend an invitation to residents of Maidenwell to attend a preliminary public consultation with Council’s Waste Services section on Tuesday, 15 September 2020, at the Maidenwell Hall, commencing at 6.30pm.
This meeting will provide an introduction to the project and Council will be seeking input from the community towards proposed locations for the facility.
Please be advised that COVID-19 restrictions will be applied to this meeting. Registration for attendance is compulsory to ensure capacity requirements are complied with and residents are requested to contact Council on 4189 9100 by 4.30pm Friday, 11 September 2020, to register to attend.
