Join Localised - the largest online business to business community in the South Burnett
In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic many businesses have had to pivot and adapt their business offering, turning to digital tools to promote their goods and services.
South Burnett’s digital business network, Localised, provides a free marketing channel to other businesses to promote their products, services, people, knowledge and events.
Theo Williams, CEO and founder of Localised, said the digital platform is the largest online business to business community in the South Burnett region, with over 300 professionals now connected.
“Even before this global pandemic, small businesses were building digital skills and market opportunities, and never before has it been more important for businesses to be found online.”
“We want to encourage local business owners to ask the question ‘Is there a local that can do it?’ by using the Localised tools to find local businesses, build capabilities or to seek recommendations.”
Mayor of South Burnett Council, Brett Otto, said with COVID-19 restrictions easing, now is more important than ever to ensure businesses can be found by people looking to do business locally.
“Localised is a great free resource for local business owners that's been supported by Council to help local businesses connect and do business.”
“By adding your business to Localised and using the tools to localise more business, you’re making your business easier to be found by local consumers, plus you're putting your business in front of other business owners who are looking to do business in the region.”
“We all need to connect and with most face-to-face meetings still not happening, local groups are all adding their online events and services on this site to let locals know what they're offering. Many of the programs are free to join.”
