UPDATE - Lamb Street, Murgon - CBD Footpath, Kerb and Channel Replacement – 07-06-20
South Burnett Regional Council is pleased to advise the progress of the replacement of Murgon’s CBD footpath along Lamb Street (between Krebs and Gore Street’s).
South Burnett Regional Council is pleased to advise the progress of the replacement of Murgon’s CBD footpath along Lamb Street (between Krebs and Gore Street’s), funded through the Queensland Government’s 2019-21 Works for Queensland program (W4Q R3) and South Burnett Regional Council. Detailed planning has preceded works in order to ensure all businesses can remain operational during the construction period.
Continuation of the street’s southern footpath replacement construction works are scheduled to be delivered during night works, operating between 6pm and 6am. Additional supporting tasks being conducted during standard working hours as required.
Details of activities planned for the week commencing Sunday 7 June are outlined below and highlighted in the “Image – Plan of works”. GREEN Sections are considered complete.

RED Southern Section 1 - Intersection of Krebs Street and Lamb Street to centre of NAB building – remaining section

YELLOW Southern Section 3 - NAB ATM to South Burnett Lawyers – remaining section
- Partially complete.
- Concreting resumed Monday 8 June.
ORANGE Southern Section 4a - Coffee Bar’s lowermost access to Murgon News
- Demolition of disability bay commenced Sunday 7 June.
- Reinstatement of kerb & channel and footpath to follow.
BLUE Southern Section 5 - Murgon News to South Burnett Lawyers.
- Demolition Thursday 11 June.
GREY Northern spraypave concrete application in highlighted section.
