Cartridges 4 PlanetArk is a national recycling program that allows you to recycle your used or empty laser and inkjet cartridges. Printer cartridges cannot be recycled in your kerbside recycling bin. Cartridges are made up of a complex mix of materials that can be turned into new products, including plastics, metal, inks and toners. When they are disposed of into landfill, these resources are lost.

Your used or empty laser and inkjet cartridges can be dropped off at participating shops such as Harvey Norman. All inkjet cartridges, toner cartridges and toner bottles are accepted. This includes cartridges used in printers, photocopiers, and fax machines.

You can also bring the printer cartridges to some of the Council’s Customer Contact centres. Please enquire before disposal.
