Community Grants Program opens Sunday 1 February 2026

Making a difference in our community? If you are a not-for-profit community organisation making a positive impact through programs, activities and events within the South Burnett, you could be eligible to apply for the Community Grants Program.

Council supports the community by offering numerous grant programs to assist community organisations and individuals:

  • Community grants program - Round 2 opens on 1 February 2026 and closes
    28 February 2026
  • Regional Arts Development Fund – Round 2 opens on 1 February 2026 and closes
    28 February 2026

The Councillor Discretionary Fund, Elite Performance Youth Grant, In-Kind Sponsorship, Indigenous Affairs Fund, School Student Awards, Community Hall Insurance Funding and In-Kind Support are open year-round.

The ‘South Burnett Regional Grant Finder’ provides a comprehensive list of all grant and funding opportunities across all governments. Accessible from Council’s website, this service means you will never miss a grant opportunity again!
