South Burnett Regional Council advises the water main replacement from the Proston Reservoir to Beresford Street Proston, is nearing completion.
In order to connect the replaced water main, crews will be isolating the reservoir for connection on Tuesday, 16 September 2025. Unfortunately, the Proston town water supply will need to be isolated and connected properties will be without water from 8am - 5pm.
To provide a safe work environment for Council staff, contractors and users, traffic signage will be in place during the time of works to control flow of traffic and ensure pedestrian safety.
Council apologises in advance for any inconvenience this work may cause and appreciates your patience while works are in progress.
