As a part of Council’s routine maintenance programs and commitment to ensure the long-term sustainability and efficiency of our water infrastructure, Council will be conducting water main and hydrant flushing on the Proston Rural Water Scheme, commencing Tuesday 1 September 2026 with an expected finish date of Friday 18 September 2026.
Properties affected include properties located in the Speedwell, Stallworth, Abbeywood, Okeden, Kinleymore, Hivesville, McEuen and Fairdale.
Residents may notice a reduction in pressure and a change in water quality while maintenance is being conducted.
