South Burnett Regional Council advises that roadworks are expected to commence in Alford Street Kingaroy on Friday 12 December 2025, between Youngman Street (Bunya Highway) and William Street. Works may continue until Monday night 15 December 2025, weather and machinery permitting. Alford Street will be temporarily closed locally at night and a detour will be in place while works are being undertaken.
To provide a safe work environment, the work will be controlled by signage and/or with traffic controllers as required. Motorists and pedestrians are requested to travel with extra care, to drive to the prevailing road conditions, and to adhere to signage.
Council apologises in advance for any inconvenience this work may cause, and appreciates your patience while works are in progress.
