South Burnett Regional Council advises a section of Avoca Street, Kingaroy (between Glendon street and Kingaroy Street) will be closed to undertake planned maintenance to a water service line. These works are programmed to be undertaken on Wednesday 3 September 2025 from 6:00am until approximately 3:00pm.
To provide a safe work environment for Council staff, contractors and users, traffic signage will be in place during the time of works to control flow of traffic and ensure pedestrian safety. There will be a total lane closure between Glendon Street and Kingaroy Street, with diversions in place to restrict traffic from turning east from Youngman Street to Avoca Street.
Motorists and pedestrians are requested to travel with extra care, to drive to the prevailing road conditions and to adhere to signage.
