The Christmas Cottage Winner and Santa’s Workshop Winners Announced

The 2025 winners of Santa’s Workshop and the Christmas Cottage winner were announced today, Wednesday 17 December 2025 at the Warren Truss Chambers, Kingaroy.

Congratulations to the winners of Santa’s Workshop for 2025:

  • Burning Oil Café, Nanango
  • WILDBowerbird, Blackbutt
  • Kingaroy RSL Club
  • Prices Plus Kingaroy
  • Wondai Mechanical and Roadworthy
  • NB Department Store (Proston)

The Santa’s Workshop initiative is sponsored by Ken Mills Toyota and is designed to ensure the children of the South Burnett have the opportunity to celebrate Christmas and to recreate the festive displays of the large areas such as in Brisbane.

The Christmas Cottage category for individual light displays, was awarded for 2025 to 23-25 Carroll Street Kingaroy.

“The aim of the Christmas Spirit Initiative is to grow the sense of community, to give children the chance to experience the joy and wonder of Christmas” said CEO Mark Pitt and his wife Nicola Pitt.

The Santa’s Workshop and Christmas Cottage are complimentary awards to Santa Claus Lane which encourages residents to work collaboratively to light up the region. The CEO and his wife personally sponsor the Santa Claus Lane award to increase social cohesion in the region and the Santa’s Workshop initiative is sponsored by Ken Mills Toyota. The Christmas Cottage category was added to the Christmas lights competition in 2023.
