South Burnett Regional Council advises that works are currently planned to upgrade drainage on the corner of Jacobsons Road and Recreation Drive, Memerambi. The outcome of the project is to provide resilience and safety during and post flood events.
The project is funded between South Burnett Regional Council and the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements which is a jointly funded program between the Australian and Queensland Governments.
In order to safely complete these works, it is necessary to close vehicular access on Recreation Drive while maintaining access onto Jacobsons Road. Below is a map of the closure extents.
Works are anticipated to commence on Monday 7 July and is anticipated to take 3-4 weeks to complete, subject to wet weather and machinery.
Detour signage will be in place prior to the commencement of works.
