South Burnett Regional Council advises that Olsens Road Cushnie, approximately 1.25km from the Tingoora-Chelmsford Road will be temporarily closed to facilitate culvert replacement works, commencing during the week of Monday 14 September 2026. This closure is to facilitate culvert replacement works commencing during the week of Monday 14 September 2026. The closure is expected to be in place for approximately 5 weeks.
The project will replace the collapsed timber culvert in this section of Olsens Road.
Due to excavation works across the road, Olsens Road, will be closed to traffic during the construction. Signage will be in place to detour traffic around the work area.
Site works and construction activity will be performed Monday to Friday – 6:30am – 5:00pm with occasional weekend work.
This project has been funded by South Burnett Regional Council’s capital works program.
