South Burnett Regional Council’s Chief Executive Officer Mark Pitt announces the launch of the 2025 Christmas Spirit Initiative with the competition entry forms now available here.
The South Burnett Christmas Spirit initiative consists of three categories with Santa Claus Lane, Santa’s Workshop and the Christmas Cottage category which allows lone residences to be eligible for judging.
“While there will be no monetary prize, we will be presenting a perpetual trophy to the winners of the Christmas Cottage and our individual trophies to winners of the Santa’s Workshop in each area at the December Council ordinary meeting. The winners of Santa Claus Lane will be presented onsite with the annual fingerboard,” Mr Pitt said.
“The Christmas Spirit initiative is about celebrating the joy of Christmas in our community, encouraging neighbours to connect, and ensuring everyone has the opportunity to participate,” Mrs Pitt added.
