South Burnett Regional Council advises that Roger Nunn Place, in Glendon street Kingaroy will be closed from Wednesday 27 August to Friday 5 September 2025, for the installation of softfall under the existing playground equipment and concrete edging around the softfall.
The five carparks along the fence line of the park will also be closed during these works. Council will have safety fencing around the playground which will be in place to restrict access and keep visitors safe from construction works.
Council apologises for the inconvenience. The Kingaroy forecourt, located across the road for the park, has tables and seating as an alternative location for residents and visitors to use.
Funding for this project is part of Council’s Capital Expenditure program.
