South Burnett residents and visitors to the region are advised that Monday, 11 August 2025 has been declared a public holiday for the South Burnett region for the purpose of the Royal Queensland Show.
Council Administration Offices, Customer Service Centres, Libraries and Council Depots will be closed on this day.
Council’s Waste management facilities will remain open with their regular operating hours. All kerbside general and recycling waste collections (wheelie bins) will be unaffected with all collections scheduled on normal collection days.
Council Visitor Information Centres and Museums are open 9am - 1pm with the exception of Wondai Museum that will be closed on the day.
