South Burnett Regional Council is calling on all community members to help shape the long-term future of our region with the launch of a new, interactive online survey commencing Monday 19 October 2026.
The ‘South Burnett Regional Development Strategy 2027 – 2032’ will serve as the roadmap for local infrastructure, economic growth, job creation and community services over the next five years. The strategy is a high-level overarching policy that outlines ways to foster growth, develop the workforce, attract investment and inspire innovation in the region.
The online survey gives every resident a direct voice in identifying the region’s current priorities and future opportunities.
The anonymous feedback collected will be analysed and used to draft the strategic plan, which will be released for public consultation in early 2027.

Time required: The survey takes approximately 5 – 7 minutes to complete.
Alternative formats: Hard copies are available at all Council libraries and customer service centres.
Closing date: Consultation closes at 5:00pm on Monday 16 November 2026.
