The Department of Sport, Racing and Olympics and Paralympic Games is providing $204,719 to South Burnett Regional Council to build a replacement amenity building at Butter Factory Park, Nanango.

Butter Factory Park is long established and has been the centre of weekend and school holiday activities for children over the years. Council is excited to be able to install a new all-inclusive amenity building, which will bring longevity to the park for years to come.

Construction of the new building is scheduled to start this week beginning Monday 17 February 2025. Small parts of the park may be temporarily closed during these works to maintain the safety of park users and the community. Council apologises for any inconvenience during this period.

South Burnett Regional Council would like to acknowledge the funding allocation by the Department of Sport, Racing and Olympic and Paralympic Games for assisting to deliver this project.
