South Burnett Regional Council advises that rate notices for the period 1 July to 31 December 2026 are expected to be issued on Friday 16 October 2026 with a discount date of Monday 16 November 2026, subject to release date.
This is a change from when rate notices may have been issued in the past. Please be advised that moving forward Council will now issue rate notices in October and April.
Property owners who are unable to pay their rates by the due date have the option to enter into a payment plan by completing the Application to Pay Rates by Instalments form on Council's website.
Alternatively, if you are experiencing financial hardship you are encouraged to apply for assistance by completing the Financial Hardship Rates Application on Council's website.
