South Burnett Regional Council advises the community that Railway Park in Proston is currently closed for maintenance due to broken glass found in the playground’s softfall.
Council’s Parks team is working to remove the existing contaminated softfall and replace with new softfall. Due to a delay in softfall delivery, the park is anticipated to be reopened by Friday 10 April 2026.
Council apologises for any inconvenience this may cause and thanks the community for their understanding.
