Parks Maintenance Works

South Burnett Regional Council advises the community that Council’s Parks and Gardens team will be carrying out maintenance works at the following locations:

• Lions Park, Murgon on Tuesday 28 July 2026 from 9:30am to 12:30pm. These works include pressure washing the outside walls and paths of the toilets. During this time, the toilet will be closed to the public. The nearest public amenities are located at Queen Elizabeth II Park on Lamb Street.
• Murgon Free Camp on Wednesday 29 July 2026 from 9:30am to 12:30pm. These works include pressure washing the camp amenities and kitchen.
• Murgon Skate Park on Thursday 30 July 2026 from 6:30am to 9:30am. These works include pressure washing the undercover skate area. The skate park will be closed off from the community during this time, however the amenities and playground area will remain open.

To protect public safety, Council’s Parks team will set up safety signage for the specific work area. The community is encouraged to keep clear of the areas undergoing maintenance.
