As a part of Council’s ongoing commitment to improving the local road network; South Burnett Regional Council advises of upcoming pavement repair and maintenance works scheduled at Andrews Road, South Nanango commencing on Monday 6 July 2026.
The work involves excavation of failed pavement and fill in with road base followed by bitumen seal. These improvements are essential to ensure the continued safety of road users and to extend the service life of the pavement. To facilitate works, temporary traffic control measures will be in place, including lane/full road closure and detour as required. Access for residents, property owners and road users will be maintained where possible and managed by site staff and traffic controllers.
Construction activity will generate noise from machinery and equipment, and there may be temporary restrictions to roadside access within the work area.
Site works and construction activity will be performed Monday to Friday 6:30am – 5:30pm. The project is expected to be completed by Friday 10 July 2026 subject to weather and resources availability.
