As a part of Council’s ongoing commitment to improving the local road network; South Burnett Regional Council wishes to notify of upcoming bitumen reseal preparation works on roads listed below to commence on Wednesday 22 July 2026.
The work involves pavement digouts, shoulder grading/repairs, pothole/patch repairs, and herbicide spraying as required. To facilitate works, temporary traffic control measures will be in place, including lane closure and traffic control. Access for residents, property owners, and motorists will be maintained where possible and managed by site staff.
Construction activity will generate noise from machinery and equipment, and there may be temporary restrictions to roadside access within the work area. Council appreciates the patience and cooperation of road users and nearby residents during this period.
Site works and construction activity will be performed Monday to Friday 6:00am – 6:00pm. The bitumen reseal preparation works is expected to be completed by 30 September 2026 subject to weather and resources availability.
