South Burnett Regional Council advises that a section of Markwell Street, Kingaroy (between Glendon street and Kingaroy Street) will be closed to undertake planned maintenance to a water service line. These works are programmed to be undertaken on Tuesday 25 November 2025 at 5:30am until approximately 3:00pm.
To provide a safe work environment for Council staff, contractors and users, traffic signage will be in place during the time of works to control flow of traffic and to ensure pedestrian safety. There will be a total lane closure between Glendon Street and Kingaroy Street, with diversions to restrict traffic entering Kingaroy Street from Glendon Street.
Motorists and pedestrians are requested to travel with extra care, to drive to the prevailing road conditions, and to adhere to signage.
Council apologises in advance for any inconvenience this work may cause, and appreciates your patience while works are in progress.
