South Burnett Regional Council advises that the water main renewal along Macalister Street Murgon will commence from Monday 9 November 2026.
The installation is planned to be carried out for approximately 4 weeks weather permitting.
In order to provide a safe work environment for Council staff, contractors and users, traffic signage will be in place during the time of works to control flow of traffic and ensure pedestrian safety.
Motorists and pedestrians are requested to travel with extra care, drive to the prevailing road conditions, and adhere to signage.
Council anticipate works will be carried out in a staged program, and further communication will be provided with times of closures to affected businesses and residents.
Council apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks you for your patience whilst works are in progress.
