South Burnett Regional Council advises that work has commenced to upgrade the water main on William Street, Kingaroy between Haly Street and Alford Street.
As part of planned works, Council will be isolating water to a number of properties along Haly Street, Kingaroy between the Youngman Street Intersection to the First Avenue Roundabout, and along William Street between Haly Street and Alford Street, on Tuesday 17 February 2026 between 5.00am and 9.00am.
Additional communication will be provided to affected residents. Council advises residents along the affected streets to take appropriate action such as, turning off hot water systems and storing enough water for this period. Toilets may be satisfactorily flushed by quickly discharging a 10-litre bucket of water in the pedestal.
