South Burnett Regional Council advises that as a part of Council’s Capital Works Program, the replacement of the aged water main along William Street, Kingaroy, between Haly Street and Alford Street is scheduled to commence week beginning Monday 5 January 2026.
Works are expected to be carried out in a stage program and is estimated to take 5 weeks, weather and machinery permitting and will be undertaken between 6:00am and 3:00pm.
To provide a safe work environment for Council staff, contractors and users, signage and minor traffic diversions will be in place during the time of works to control flow of traffic and ensure pedestrian safety. Motorists and pedestrians are requested to travel with extra care, to drive to the prevailing road conditions and to adhere to signage.
Council apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks you for your patience whilst works are in progress.
