Notice of Works- Tingoora Chelmsford Road Rehabilitation - Phase 2

South Burnett Regional Council advises that roadworks on Tingoora Chelmsford Road, Chelmsford are scheduled to commence the week of Monday, 3 March 2025,

with an estimated duration of eight weeks, weather permitting.

This project, proudly funded by the Australian Government's Roads to Recovery Program (R2R), involves the strengthening and widening of the existing pavement and bitumen seal between Ch8500 (South of Lysdale Road intersection) and Ch10430 (North of Redhill Road intersection)

To ensure the safety of Council staff, contractors, and road users, traffic control and sidetracks will be in place throughout the works. Some minor delays may occur. Local access to properties and businesses within the work area will be maintained.

Motorists and pedestrians are urged to:

• Follow all traffic signage and directions.
• Drive cautiously and to the prevailing road conditions.
• Allow extra travel time.
