South Burnett Regional Council advises that flood repairs are currently planned for an underground drainage structure on Mt McEuen Road.
The existing damaged end structure will be removed and replaced with localised pavement reconstruction over the underground drainage structure.
In order to safely complete these works, it is necessary to restrict vehicular access for a section of Mt McEuen Road between Fairdale Road (off Wondai Proston Road) and the intersection of Dip Road. Access will remain available via a detour route on Dip Road and Wondai Proston Road.
Below is a map outlining the extent of the road closure.
Works are anticipated to commence on Tuesday 11 August 2026 and continue until Monday 14 September 2026 (subject to weather and machinery).
