South Burnett Regional Council advises that Alford Street, Kingaroy (located between Youngman Street and Glendon Street Kingaroy) will be temporarily closed to undertake planned street lighting maintenance works. These works are programmed to commence between 5am to approximately 9am Monday 20 October 2025 and Tuesday 21 October 2025, weather and machinery permitting.
To provide a safe work environment for Council staff, contractors and users, traffic signage will be in place during the time of works to control flow of traffic and ensure pedestrian safety. Throughout the duration of works, road closures affecting single lanes of traffic and parking facilities will occur each day.
Motorists and pedestrians are requested to travel with extra care, to drive to the prevailing road conditions, and adhere to signage.
Council apologises in advance for any inconvenience this work may cause and appreciates your patience while works are in progress.
