South Burnett Regional Council advises that bitumen reseal works will be undertaken on McCord Street and Scott Street, Wondai. The reseal works program includes the replacement and reinstatement of part of the kerb and channel, including driveway concrete infill followed by bitumen reseal and linemarking.
Concrete works are scheduled to commence on Wednesday 18 February 2026, subject to weather conditions and resource availability.
To facilitate works, temporary traffic control measures will be in place, including lane closures and traffic control. Temporary delays to traffic are expected during construction. Access for residents and property owners will be maintained where possible and managed by site staff.
Construction activity will generate noise from machinery and equipment, and there may be temporary restrictions to roadside access within the work area.
Site works and construction activity will be performed Monday to Friday 6:00am – 6:00pm. The project is expected to be completed by Friday 20 March 2026.
