South Burnett Regional Council advises that Council controlled rock blasting will be undertaken as part of the Gordonbrook Off Stream Storage Project. Blasting will be completed on Wednesday, 17 December between 10am and 3pm.
Project Overview
The Gordonbrook Off Stream Storage Project is a critical investment in the region’s water security. To connect the new reservoir to the existing network, pipelines must be installed through sections of hard sandstone. Controlled blasting is required to prepare the trench alignments and ensure safe and efficient construction.
