South Burnett Regional Council advises the community that Council’s Parks and Gardens team will be carrying out works at Apex Park, Kingaroy on Monday 16 November 2026 to Thursday 19 November 2026. These works include the construction of a concrete path from the disabled carpark to the amenities block. This path will make it easier for wheelchairs to travel from the disabled carpark to the toilets. During this time the park will be partially closed to the public.
To protect public safety, the Contractor will fence off sections of the park. The community is encouraged to keep clear of the areas undergoing works while the path is being constructed. During this time, the toilets and all playground equipment at Apex Park will remain open to the public.
This project was proudly funded by the Queensland Government through the Works for Queensland program.
Council apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks you for your patience whilst works are in progress.
