South Burnett Regional Council advises that works to upgrade the water main on the western side of Fitzroy Street, Nanango, between Alfred Street and Appin Street West has commenced. As part of planned works, Council will be isolating water to a number of properties on Wednesday, 17 December 2025 between 6am and 3pm.
Additional communication will be provided to affected residents. However, appropriate actions such as, turning off hot water system and storing enough water for this period. Toilets may be satisfactorily flushed by quickly discharging a 10-litre bucket of water in the pedestal.
Council apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks you for your patience whilst works are in progress.
