South Burnett Regional Council is pleased to inform the community that the climbing structure has been installed in the Dalton Playground in Wooroolin. The playground equipment was assembled and installed by Council’s Parks team.

Climbing structures in playgrounds encourage upper body strength, hand-eye coordination and problem-solving skills, while allowing creative climbing paths. Playground equipment encourages social interaction between children and creative play.

“Great to see the antiquated equipment being replaced with a lovely new climbing frame at Wooroolin, a great asset to the town,” said Cr Ros Heit.

This project was proudly funded by the Queensland Government through the Works for Queensland program.
