South Burnett Regional Council advises the community that the Nanango Lions Park Playground area under the shade sail will be fenced off and closed to the public indefinitely, commencing Friday 10 April 2026.
Council’s Parks team carried out an audit on the play equipment and it was determined that some items are no longer useable. The swing set will remain open. A new playground will be installed when funding becomes available.
