Council, Mayor Duff and Councillors would like to express their thanks to guest speaker Taylor McKeown, the generous local donors, and the 110 South Burnett community members who bought tickets in support of the launch of the South Burnett Relay for Life 2025 campaign. Thank you to the Nanango RSL for the delicious breakfast and to Carl Rackemann for the kind donation of five cricket balls that were auctioned off contributing to the fundraising success of the breakfast.
Mayor Kathy Duff said, “The South Burnett community continues to give generously to this important charity event which is celebrating its 20th year in 2025, bringing the community together to celebrate cancer survivors, remembering our loved ones lost and continuing to raise funds for those still battling, as we fight back against cancer. “
