Mayor's Breakfast Raises $3014.78 for Relay for Life Australia

South Burnett Regional Council and Mayor Kathy Duff are pleased to announce that the Mayor’s Breakfast, held on Friday 15 May 2026, to launch the South Burnett Relay for Life has raised $3014.78, with all proceeds donated to Relay for Life.

Council, Mayor Duff and Councillors would like to express their thanks to guest speaker Darryl Brohman “The Big Marn”, the generous local donors, and the 102 South Burnett community members who bought tickets in support of the launch of the South Burnett Relay for Life 2026 campaign. Thank you to the Kingaroy RSL for the delicious breakfast, the South Burnett Youth Council and to Carl Rackemann for the kind donation of three cricket balls that were auctioned off contributing to the fundraising success of the breakfast.

Mayor Kathy Duff said, “The South Burnett community continues to give generously to this important charity and I sincerely thank everyone involved in the success of the breakfast.”
