South Burnett Regional Council advises that Council’s Parks and Gardens team will be carrying out maintenance works at Butter Factory Park, Nanango from mid November 2026 to carry out repairs to the cycle track.

These works include repair works being undertaken to a 45 metre section of the Learn to Cycle Track in Butter Factory Park which will be demolished and replaced due to multiple trip hazards. Council anticipates this repair maintenance work to take one week to complete. During this time a small section of the cycle track will be partially closed to the public.

To protect public safety, the Contractor will fence off sections of the cycle track. The community is encouraged to keep clear of the areas undergoing works while the cycle track is being restored.

During this time, the toilets and all playground equipment at Butter Factory Park, Nanango will remain open to the public.

This project was proudly funded by Council’s Parks Capital Works Program.

Council apologises for any inconvenience caused and thanks you for your patience whilst works are in progress.
