The South Burnett Local Disaster Recovery Group (LDRG) has met this afternoon and has now moved to Stand Up to address immediate recovery needs, relief operations, conduct impact and needs assessments for community, small business, primary producers and anticipated recovery issues and risks.

This information is needed so the LDRG can identify issues and community impact to our region. Our Community Impact Survey will help identify opportunities for funding assistance and ensure our community is assisted in recovery.

Council has recently created a Disaster Dashboard “Recovery” page to assist community members with resources available from government and supporting local agencies.

Recovery Chair Cr Danita Potter said, “We encourage our community to follow Council’s Recovery Dashboard page and complete our Community Impact Survey so we can start to identify impacts to our community and recovery needs”.

Our Recovery Sub Groups consisting of “Human and Social, Economic, Environmental, Roads and Transport, Building & Assets” will also meet over the coming days.

Please visit the Disaster Dashboard and click on “Recovery”
