South Burnett Regional Council advises residents and visitors of increased pedestrian activity on the Kilkivan to Kingaroy Rail Trail, specifically between Murgon and Tingoora. This is due to the Gravel and Flannel Festival, scheduled to take place from Friday 3 July 2026 at 2.00pm to Sunday 5 July 2026 at 1.00pm.
Users of the trail should expect a higher number of pedestrians using the trail during the festival period. Please exercise caution and be patient when navigating this area.
