Footpath Extension – Tessmanns Road Kingaroy

South Burnett Regional Council is pleased to advise that footpath extension work has commenced on the Western side of Tessmanns Road, between Bridgeman Parade and Cowie Drive, and between Graham Street and Sonaree Drive.

The project will extend the existing concrete footpath on Tessmanns Road.

In order to provide a safe work environment, temporary signage and traffic control staff will be in place to assist pedestrians around the work area.

Access to properties will be provided during the construction period.

Construction activity will create noise from machinery and equipment, and for public safety there will be some restrictions to vehicle parking and pedestrian access, however these impacts will be limited.

Site works and construction activity will be performed Monday to Friday 6:30am – 5:00pm with occasional weekend work. The project is expected to be completed by end of June 2025.

This project has been funded under the Queensland Government’s Safe-ST program and South Burnett Regional Council’s Capital Works program.
