Footpath Construction – Fisher Street Kingaroy

South Burnett Regional Council advises that works on Fisher Street, Kingaroy are due to commence mid-August 2026, weather permitting.

Work being undertaken includes installation of a new concrete footpath on the western side of Fisher Street between Coral Street and Moore Street.

To provide a safe work environment, the work areas will be controlled by signage. Motorists and pedestrians are requested to travel with extra care, to drive to the prevailing road conditions, and to adhere to signage.

Construction activity will generate noise from machinery and equipment. Council appreciates the patience and cooperation of road users and nearby residents during this period.

Site works and construction activity will be performed Monday to Friday 6:30am – 5:00pm. The project is expected to be completed by mid-September 2026.

These works are proudly funded by the Queensland Government through the Works For Queensland Program.
